Happy Birthday

my baby girls turns 6 tomorrow. i don't remember the details of her birth...her size, her weight, or the time she was born, but i do remember that feeling of hearing her cry for the 1st time and seeing her beautiful face. words cannot describe that feeling of your 1st child. the memories we have with her are priceless. she is growing so fast and i can't slow her down. she is so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people. she was blessed with the most wonderful kindergarten teacher. she is beginning to read. she loves art. she will play outside for hours. she is starting to like 'big girl' things. she loves her cousins. she loves picking on her little sisters. we love her so much and are so thankful she is happy and healthy. though i wish i could go back 6 years ago tonight and start all over, i can not and i know she has big potential.

happy birthday HANNAH REAGAN ROSS! we love you!

chicago 2010

The girls and I are out in Chicago visiting Kelsey and her kids. We have been having so much fun. The White Sox game, a visit to the American Girl store, a HUGE water fountain, and vacation bible school a.k.a daycare are a few of the things we have done so far. We are going to the beach tomorrow and hanging out the rest of the week. The girls have had so much fun just playing and wearing the twinnies clothes. Kelsey and I have got up on all our smut T.V. We went shopping on Michigan Ave. today and had fun! It is crazy crowded here!

Hannah graduated Kindergarten today. There is nothing like your child's kindergarten year, even if you are doing it again:) It was such a special year for her and she was so blessed to have a wonderful teacher. Today it culminated in a Graduation. I could not stop crying...literally, the entire performance. It was such a nice day. The kids did so great. Each class did a song and then Hannah had the special part in the poem:) She was wonderful! She looked so beautiful in her curls! Nothing will compare to this special day for our little baby girl! We were so proud of her!

Father's Day

Father's Day was a bit stressful for John. Kate took off her vest in the pool and is an official swimmer. Suffice to say, he would be fine if the kids holed up in the house and never did anything that could possibly get them hurt. She is our scaredy cat, so I figured she wouldn't do it. The minute she realized she could, she was everywhere. Jumping off and swimming to a step, playing shark with my dad, and she even tried to backstroke.

Memorial Day

Show me what you got!
A personal favorite!

We had such a wonderful Memorial Day. Candace and Matt drove down. We hung out with them all weekend and finished the weekend Monday at our friend Jenn and Michael's house. We ate wonderfully and swam til the kids got sick:) The highlights of the weekend beyond being with friends and family were Kate getting into Marmies hair scissors and cutting her hair. She later told me "Marmie does it a lot better" and quite possibly the funnies...Matt teaching/showing John some moves in his Birkham Yoga! Absolutely hysterical!
