We all know my struggles with Hannah. She is a bit feisty...sometimes. She does have a great imagination though. This is what took place during her nap time on Friday. She got everything out of her toy bag and put it up underneath her bunkbed. She is CRAZY!!!!!

Kate's big day

Here are a few pictures of Kate's birthday. She is still recovering!! She had all her family here. John's family flew in from Ohio, so we were glad to have them all here. Hannah can't quite grasp the concept that none of the gifts were for here. She keeps trying to "give" them to Kate, but here idea of giving them is to put them all under her covers in her room!!!

I'm Stuck!!!

Don't ask!!! We are driving home from the game and Hannah is having a fit because she is STUCK!!! Mind you, we are driving on the 5 freeway and she refers to sitting in her car seat strapped in as being stuck!! The gloves...don't ask. We visited the dr. Fri. and she gave them to Hannah!
Below is a picture of Hannah, Lauren, and Kaelyn flossing their teeth!

Happy Birthday to our precious Kate

Happy Birthday Kate. Today our baby is no longer a baby. She turned 1!!!! She has been such a great addition to our family. Thank you to all who have played a part in her life!!! We all celebrated with icecream cake. Included in the photo is Kate's two dads, John and Seth. They say it wasn't planned, but we all have our doubts!!

Thanks to Auntie Paige who came through by making the cake. I was going to, but Kelsey dragged me to the Juicy Store in Fashion Island and we were gone too long. It was yummy.
On a brighter note, Hannah has preschool tomorrow!!!!!

Kate's walking

Not sure if this will work, but here is video of Kate walking today at our mommy and me class. I hope it works.

Kate's conversion

Kate is thinking about leaving the Catholic Church. I'm trying to convince her not to but she really likes the hankerchiefs!!!

Nadia the gymnast

Hannah's got the right height, short. Weight though is not on her side. I don't think many gymnast are 4 feet 175 pounds, but we have to try anyways. She started gymnastics on Friday. She absolutely loves it. I'm not bragging when I say she was one of maybe 2 kids out of about 20 that could walk across the balance beam by herself. If you don't believe me ask her marmie (grandma).

No Accidents, No Phone Calls

We made it through our first day of Tot Lot Preschool for Hannah. I had my cell phone in my pocket waiting for a call from her teacher. I figured I would get a call for 1 of 2 reasons. Either an accident or just absolute defiant behavior. Well, that call never came. I think the teacher was just being nice and giving her a chance for the first day!!

I did have a wonderful morning. I got home, put Kate down and I had the whole morning to myself. It's amazing how fast 2 1/2 hours can go. Hannah requires A LOT of time. I got the floors mopped, the dishes done, 2 loads of laundry and I even watched my favorite show The View.

When I went to pick her up, I snuck behind the class and I heard "Hannah, listen to my words." No response from Hannah. I then heard again "Hannah, listen to my words, get off the horse and go back to the big playground." No response again from Hannah, but I saw the grip on her hands tighten up around that horse so tight I could see the blood pumping through her fingers." At this point I don't know whether to but in or let the teacher handle it. I can see by the determination on Hannah's face that she is under no circumstances going to move onto the playground that she is suppose to be on. One final "Hannah, listen to my words" as I am thinking Lady, clearly she is not going to listen to your words, she is Hannah Ross. She marches to her own drum. Well she surprised me. After telling her teacher she was to little to get off the horse by herself

funny because I am assuming since she wasn't suppose to be over there, no one put her on the horse but anyways. She went to where she was suppose to go. She then proceeded to get in trouble for not getting in line. Mind you all 20 of the other 3 year olds have absolutely no trouble following the leader in the line, but oh well. She finally got in line and walked back into her classroom. Kate and I picked her up and we were off. She loved it though she couldn't tell me a single thing about her day. She is excited for Thursday!

My punishment

This must be my punishment for all the torture I put everyone through in my entire life. Take a close look at the pictures. Hannah has rubberbands around her feet claiming that they are her flip flops. Also, we are in the middle of a heat wave and she refuses to take off this snow hat that by the way is TOO SMALL!!

On a brighter note, Kate took her first steps on Tuesday. She walks a few steps and then falls into you, but she is trying.

...only 36 more days until summer vacation! (36 weeks too, but we are not counting those!!!
