Kate is obsessed with Minnie Mouse and funny enough as Auntie Paige pointed out, she has the same high pitched voice as her!

We celebrated Kate's birthday last week. It was a nice intimate birthday. Poor Kate, everyone we invited couldn't come. Must have been a popular weekend. Everyone kept telling me she'll never know, but I still felt bad for her. We were lucky to have Kelsey and her kids and Julie and her little girl come out. They were an added plus to our shin dig! Kate had the best day.

She has been looking forward to this day sine Hannah's birthday. "My birthday comin up?" that's all we have heard. She has made so much improvement in her speech. For the most part, if you really listen to her, you can understand what she is saying. She has the best personality and LOVES everything.

All in a day's work

My baby is officially not a baby anymore. Today Meghan both crawled a real crawl and pulled herself up. How is this happening so fast? I put her down for the night and luckily John went to check the humidifier that is in her room and I hear "Uh, Court, come here!" Though the Buckeyes lost to USC, it was an exciting game to watch. I'm not quite sure if both teams were so good or both teams did so bad to make it that way. The girls had fun with our SC neighbors. They could have cared less to watch the game. They were running around playing monsters and pirates!

Gardenhill Elementary School

We dropped Hannah off at Kindergarten today. She was totally, let me repeat TOTALLY fine. I had a few breakdowns on the way there and then when I said my final goodbyes. I hugged her like she was going off to Iraq and all she wanted to do was color. She has a great teacher and already had a friend from preschool. It seems like just yesterday she was born and now she has accomplished a major milestone in her life. Unfortuneatly it's all down hill from here. It doesn't get much better than your 1st day of kindergarten:)Kaitlyn and Hannah. I had Kaitlyn in kindergarten and we were in the same room Hannah is in now.

another good day of taking birthday pictures. They are not 'photographer' style with my lighting, but I am very excited about how Kate's pictures turned out. One of these days, it might be with my grandkids, I am going to learn this nice camera I have thanks to Big Daddy Bush and his stimulus money a few years back!

My cleaning involves walking around aimlessly around my house wondering why I don't know how to clean. I have had my occasional clean sweep from Kelsey, J.J., Candace, and Julie, but I always seem to collect more crap.

John has the kids at the park and cleaned out one of the closets full of bobbleheads, so I decided to reorganize so I have some space. Hannah is starting school and soccer, Kate is starting school and dance, so I need to be on the ball, know where things are, so I don't run out of the house in a frenzy, cussing and wondering why my kids never have shoes to wear. This is what my reorganization got me...

Clearly I blame my mother. There were many mornings of cereal with no milk, bread with no meat, peanut butter with no jelly, etc.

And so it begins

The day has come...College football. With 3 kids, I don't know how we are going to sit on the couch all day and watch every game that ESPN has to offer, but we'll give it our best shot. Hannah is in San Diego with my mom and sister, so she couldn't participate in the pictures, so we'll try her next week! Happy Fall!

I think it's safe to say, Meghan is sitting up. She is getting her chunky body into this position on her own. I lay her down and she makes a pretzel out of herself and sits up. I can not believe that just 7 short months ago, she was this sleeping little newborn. It is going by so fast.
