OO-ey OO-ey OO-ey
J: OO-ey, OO-ey, OO-ey can I go to the butterfly garden
Immediately I walk to the computer to post this. He reads Oui, Oui, Oui (we we we in French for Yes Yes Yes) as OO-ey, OO-ey, OO-ey!
My mom and sisters tell me I always rag on John, so I need to end this with what a great dad he is to the girls. He takes time at night and reads to them when he really justs wants to relax and watch Sports Center.

Shadows everywhere!!

Here is clip #2. I tried to capture the moment, but I couldn't get it all. It was absolutely fantastic watching John. He kept giving her hard letters like p/b/d. He would not listen to me that those were not good letters. I have a masters in reading, I think I know a little about this. Just wait til the weekend when he goes to plant a flower that likes full sun and I keep telling him to put it in partial shade!
Testing
On Friday Hannah is going to be tested to see if she can get into kindergarten. Though she is very smart, she isn't very interested in learning the things for the test. She has no desire to write her name or learn her letters. We work with her, but now it's down to the nitty gritty. John decided to go full force with her and for those of you who know John, he is not the most patient person, actually, he has ZERO patience. Helping with homework is not going to be his forte.
I heard things like this...
Why are you doing this to me hannah?
Did I mention the letter Y?
We have only done 3 letters, how can you not remember these?
Please hannah, focus!
What don't you understand?
There's no sharp bottom, it's a rounded bottom
The video does not do tonight justice. It was absolutely hysterical. Hannah is stubborn as a mule and John has no patience. What a great father/daughter combo.
In all serious, please pray for our little girl. I am seriously nervous about this test. She can not stay in preschool another year.
P.S. Watch Kate
