Our neighbor Johnny...this could be the funniest guy you'll ever meet.
Kate was not fan. I think she actually heard them this year since she just had her surgery. Maybe I should take her back to the dr. Anything to see her ENT that I have a crush on:)

Getting ready to swim...making sure the chlorine is okay:)We had a wonderful 4th of July again. We had our annual BBQ at our house. The Crocketts and my parents came over. We made shishkabobs (spelling???) and had fruit salad, broccoli salad, bean dip, and the all important Nancy's cookies. The Crockett girls came over and went 'swimming.' They left their nice big, in the ground pool, for our 2.48 blow up pool from Target...now that's a friend. Jenn and I decided we need to start our own 'fat club.' Fat club is a club that my mom, her mother in law, and a few of their friends go to on Monday night. It used to be they would go to weigh in at weight watchers, which is why we call it fat club, and then go out to eat. Now that they are old, they just go out to eat! We're going to go out to eat and get a mani/pedi every once in a while!
We finished the night off with a package of 'poppers' and a big box of fireworks that hardly caught any one's attention. I think I got a dud box.:(
Our street continues to captivate audiences with their show of fireworks. Half of the houses have illegal fireworks. The street is lit up all night long. The kids had a great time and so did I if I do say so myself:)

HAHAHAHAH I totally laughed out loud reading this entry. It was a great night and the "duds" were spectacular! We'll be back next year for sure!
