A new appreciation

I have a new appreciation for our friend Danielle. She has 3 boys and a husband.

Seriously, how does pee get on the way back of the toilet seat???? WTHeck:)!!! I truly don't understand. Clearly you would have to work to get it all the way back there? I cleaned both bathrooms this morning and both have spots all the way in the back behind the hinges that lift up the toilet seat no less!! GROSS!!!!!

Hannahisms

Here are some of the latest things out of Hannah's mouth...

Situation:
I ask Hannah to take her shoes off in her room because she played outside at school.

From her room I hear in a whining crying voice: "Come on shoes, get off. My mommy wants you off. MMMMMMMM shoes, come off. I don't understand you."

Situation:
Hannah wakes up from a little nap. I tell her she took a cat nap.

She replies: "No I didn't, I am not a cat."

Situation:
We are in some type of fight because she is not doing something I ask her.

She looks at me and in a stern voice says, "If you keep talking me with this attitude, I am going to bed by myself."

Situation:
I give her her panties and jammies. The tag for her panties is on the side and not the back like she is use to.

I hear from her room, "Come on tag. Don't try and trick me. You need to go in the back!"

This is normal right??????

Back to the Future

So today my dad, who watches no t.v. was watching HBO; a channel he got for free because he tried to finagle the Direct T.V. people and messed, so he blamed them and he got it for free. But anyways, onto my story. He turns it on and calls Bill downstairs. "Bill this is a great movie have you seen it yet?" Seriously, it was BACK TO THE FUTURE!!! All he has talked about the last 2 hours is the great movie Back to the Future:)

Don't adjust your computer screen.

The first few pictures are not about this post, but they were on my mom's camera so I thought I would share them. The one of my dad I thought was funny for those of you who know him. I think this is his headshot for his sports reporting job that he has always wanted and always thought he could do:)


This what you can't adjust your computer screen for. This lovely red sparkly clear blender is something my mom thought she just had to have. I mean it was at Costco, so it had to be a good deal right? Well all tease her because we ask "Why on earth would you buy this. You don't cook at all and you surely don't make cookies."



She replied "I want them for when I make mash potatoes" (now she makes mash potatoes 2 times a year: Thanksgiving and Christmas. Then when those times came around she didn't use the mixer because she didn't want to clean it!#@@#$???????



Anyways. For the first time, she takes it out today to make cookies with Hannah. My dad and I were shocked. The only bad thing is that she doesn't make chocolate chip cookies that everyone will like, she makes booty oatmeal raisin with nuts YUCK!!!

My mom is the only person I know with a 100 thousand dollar kitchen, a 5 thousand dollar fridge that doesn't hold anything, a flat top stove that she is obsessed with cleaning that doesn't get much use, a double oven, for all the cookies she bakes (we're lucky to get one of those ovens heated up 2x a month), and a brand new blender that she doesn't want to get dirty:) Love you mom!!!

I can't cook on Tuesday because I need to get ready for the cleaning lady

I can't cook on Wednesday because the cleaning lady was here

I can't cook on Thursday because the cleaning lady just came

I don't cook of Friday, Saturday or Sunday because it's the weekend

I can't cook on Monday because I got to Fat Club (formerly known as Weight Watchers where they use to go and weigh in and since they never lost any weight, they just started to out to dinner)

I can't cook on Tuesday because the cleaning lady is coming tomorrow

John has this way about him that he states is not complaining that he's just helping me out. I think it's complaining, especially when he gets his whiney voice. He likes to let other people know how messy and disorganized I am. Well here are a few of his things that are out at ONE TIME!!!

Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's day. My sister and the twins surprised us from Seattle, Candace, my BFF, came up with her family from San Diego, Paige was there, my Unlce Ronnie from NY, and both my gmas! We all huddled in the spa cuz it was a pretty cold day. The kids had so much fun together as usual. They are all a total terror.

Hannah learned this song for Mother's Day! Sorry it's sideways, I couldn't figure out how to change it.

I don't have 7 friends that are not already included, but I know Paige forgot Kelsey, and she was a little sensitive about it, so I will tag her.

1. I am obsessed with buying my kids Gymboree clothes. I buy full price, I receive a coupon in the mail, I take it back and rebuy it. I save it for a while and when it goes on sale again, I take that back and rebuy. If they don't have it, I make up some story with the lady at the counter telling them that I want to return this, but my sister wants it so can I rebuy it?

2. I too, love TIVO. I Tivo anything and everything I think I might like. My TIVO has currently only 2% available.

3. I love The View. Everyone on it bugs me at some point (even Elisabeth) but I watch it faithfully everyday.

4. I can't get over the fact when they cancel new shows that I loved like Hyperion Bay (with Zack from Saved by the Bell) and What About Brian. My friend Molly and I still talk about the shows we loved.j

5. I have resorted to getting Hannah's smoothie drink ready at night since she wakes up so early in the morning, and telling her to go get it in the refrigerator.

6. I need my mom and sisters almost on a daily basis.

7. I love baseball and college football.

Now it's Kelsey's turn

Here are some pictures of Kate tonight. I know they are almost all the same, but she looks so happy and that is sometimes so rare for her.

As far as her surgery she saw the ENT on Friday. He said she looked good and didn't think that he would need to see her again. I kept telling my friend that I had a crush on the Dr. I was kind of bummed when he signed us off. There is just something about a person who takes care of your child when you can't!! I am not really sad that we are done, hopefully, but I really did like the Dr. She does have a runny nose, but she also has a cold. So for the 1st time, I am hoping she's sick. When she coughs I am so happy because I know then there is a reason for the runny nose. If it doesn't go away, we will then have to explore other options, but so far, for now, she is OK!!

My Best Friend

One would think that having 3 close sisters you don't need to fill the need of a "best friend" When I say close, I mean EXTREMELY close. We all talk everyday, about 10 times a day. We see each other as much as we can, not often enough, but considering we are all over the place, a lot more than you would think.

Anyways, Candace and I always thought we were all best friends, but apparantly we were wrong. Kelsey has a best friend and so does Paige. Clearly we are not good enough that they have to brag about their Best Friends on their blog.

So, Candace and I are offically BFF's. I talk to my best friend Candace all the time. I will soon be planning a trip to Sea World with my best friend Candace. My best friend Candace is so funny. She has this great sense of humor. I can't wait to be best friends with her forever.

So Paige and Kelsey, take that. Candace and I have our own best friends so there!!!
And since both of you bitches moved away, the house on Sutton is ours. Mom's diamonds, ours. Diamond and Victory yours. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
